Jamye is currently the sex educator for Lovers, A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution. She is also the CGO of gasm.Org, a website devoted to sexual pleasure, health and orgasms. She is currently working on her MA in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University and researching/writing a book on dating, sex and relationships.

In addition to being a sex writer, author, blogger, video host, producer and director, Jamye Waxman, M.Ed.,  is a well-known and sought after educator and lecturer in the field of human sexuality and relationships.  Jamye utilizes her Masters in Sex Education from Widener University and her recent SFSI certification to discuss pleasure, sex education and how people relate to each other, both in love and in life.

Her video series, Personal Touch, was put out by Adam and Eve Pictures in 2007, as was 101 Positions for Lovers (2009). Waxman’s videos appear on Lovers, gasm.OrgCherry TV’s Fresh Advice, Sex Health Guru and her Youtube channel. She also intermittently creates the Hot Sox Podcast.

Jamye waxed poetic as a sex advice columnist for various publications including LA Weekly (After Dark website), Playgirl Magazine (“Sex.Ed.”) and Steppin’ Out Magazine (“Hot Wax”).  She regularly acts as a consultant, and has been interviewed and quoted in both printed and online publications such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Zink, AVN, Forbes, Xbiz, RealitySandwich, Jane, Zug, Heeb, Time Out New York, The NY Daily News, and YourTango.

She is the author of several books, including the award-winning book Getting Off: A Woman’s Guide to Masturbation (Seal Press) and Women Loving Women: Appreciating and Exploring the Beauty of Erotic Female Encounters.  She also contributed to the book Naked Ambition: Women Who Are Changing Pornography.  Jamye recently collaborated with Emily Morse (of Miss Advised) to co-write, Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight.

Waxman’s career as a sex educator began as at world-famous sex toy shop Babeland in New York, and since she has gone on to be internationally recognized for her contributions to the sex and media community.  In 2005, Wired.Com dubbed her “the nexxxt generation of sex educator.”Jamye was a radio producer for the likes of Joan Rivers, Alan Colmes, Joey Reynolds, Bob Berkowitz and Chaunce Hayden. She is a former TV Producer on Naked NY (Metro TV).  She is a past president of Feminists for Free Expression and a member of SFSI.
