Jamye
Waxman
has been dubbed "the nexxxt generation of sex educator" by Wired.com.
She has her masters in sex ed from Widener University, and is the sex
advice columnist for Playgirl Magazine as well as
one of the hosts of Fresh Advice on Cherrytv.com. Her work also
appears in Women's Health, Men's
Health, Zink, AVN Novelty,
Xbiz, Steppin' Out
and RealitySandwich.com.
Jamye wrote the books Getting Off: A Woman's Guide to
Masturbation (Seal Press) and Women Loving Women:
Appreciating and Exploring the Beauty of Erotic Female Encounters
(Quiver Press). She contributed to the book Naked Ambition:
Women Who Are Changing Pornography (Carroll and Graf). She
is also the creator and host of the Personal
Touch
video series for Adam and Eve pictures. She conducts workshops for men
and women about all things sex. Jamye has been quoted in magazines
including Self, Men's Health,
Glamour, Cosmo, Jane,
Heeb and The NY Daily News.
She worked at the world-famous sex shop Babeland, in NYC, both recently
as the Marketing and Events Coordinator, and formerly as a retail sex
educator. Jamye is also the former radio producer of The
Joan Rivers Show, The Joey Reynolds Show
(WOR), The Alan Colmes Show (WEVD) and LoveBytes
with Bob Berkowtiz (eyada.com). She is a former TV Producer
of Naked NY on Metro TV. Jamye is President of
Feminists for Free Expression. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.
